PLM v1 — Versioned Quote Revisions

Track every iteration of a quote with full revision history, re-open any version in the customizer to edit, and keep sales-to-production handoffs clean for apparel manufacturers.

PLM v1 — Quote Revisions Are Here

In apparel manufacturing, a quote is rarely final on the first submission. Clients request color changes, sizing adjustments, roster updates, and design tweaks — sometimes across multiple rounds before production starts.

PLM v1 introduces versioned quote revisions so every iteration is tracked, recoverable, and editable without losing what came before.

Why Versioned Revisions Matter

Before PLM v1, iterating on a quote meant overwriting the previous state or managing parallel copies manually. That created risk:

  • Lost design history when a client changed their mind
  • No audit trail for what was approved vs. what was proposed
  • Production teams working from outdated specifications

PLM v1 treats each quote as a revision chain — every edit creates a new version while preserving the full history.

Revision History in the Dashboard

Every quote group now has a dedicated Revisions section on the quote detail page:

  • See every revision numbered and timestamped
  • Compare status across versions (draft, submitted, approved)
  • Identify which revision is the current active version
  • Access assets, previews, and configuration data per revision

Your team always knows exactly which version the client signed off on.

Re-Open Any Revision in the Customizer

Need to tweak revision 3 without starting over? PLM v1 lets you pick up where you left off:

  • Open any revision directly in the 3D customizer from the quote page — the full design restores automatically
  • Save changes as a new revision without mutating prior versions

Designers can iterate freely. Sales can share the latest link. Production gets the approved revision.

Snapshot Restore & Re-Editing

Every revision captures the complete design, colors, roster, and pricing at submission time.

Restoring a revision reloads the exact state at submission time — not an approximation.

Size & Team Order Support

PLM v1 handles the complexity of team and roster orders:

  • Edit size revisions independently within a quote group
  • Track roster changes across revision rounds
  • Maintain per-player customization through the revision chain

Whether it is a single jersey or a 30-player team order, every size and roster entry stays tied to the correct revision.

Sales → Design → Production Handoff

PLM v1 bridges the gap between your commercial and production teams:

  • Sales submits the initial quote and shares the customizer link with the client
  • Design opens a specific revision, makes changes, and saves a new version
  • Production works from the approved revision with full asset and spec history

No more "which file is the latest?" conversations.

PLM v1 is live for all workspaces. Open any quote in your dashboard to see the Revisions section.
