Quote detail → KonfiNest tab. It needs a Ready print-file set for the active revision.
KonfiNest extracts every garment panel from the size files, places them on your material sheet as tightly as the solver can, and produces:
| Output | Use |
|---|---|
| Sheet SVGs (one per sheet, millimetre-accurate) | Preview, RIP import |
| DXF | Cutters that take DXF |
| Ready-Print PDF (one per job) | PDF/X-4, CMYK converted with your ICC profile, cut contour removed from the artwork layer, true-size pages — send this to the press |
Previous runs stay on the order, so you can compare settings.
Utilization is low. Allow more rotations, lower spacing to what your cutter tolerates, use Thorough, or nest several orders' files together by generating them into one quote.
The PDF is missing but the SVGs are there. PDF composition failed preflight (e.g. a sheet whose artwork has no printable content). The job note on the sheet explains; the SVGs remain valid.
Colors in the PDF differ from the SVG. The PDF is CMYK-converted with your ICC profile; the SVG is RGB. Upload the press's actual ICC in Settings → Print and re-nest.
Is nesting charged? Nesting is currently free; print-file generation is the credited step. The card shows any cost before you confirm.
