Konfiwear V1.0: The Full Journey
Between June 2024 and February 2026, Konfiwear shipped 6 major releases — each one shaped by direct feedback from sportswear brands, teamwear producers, and apparel manufacturers running real production workflows.

R1.0 — Platform Launch (June 2024)
The release that started it all. Built from over 1,000 configurators developed under Konfigear, Konfiwear launched as a standalone platform for on-demand apparel customization.
- Admin Dashboard — upload 3D models, define printable zones, assign fabrics, set pricing
- Real-Time 3D Customizer — web-based drag-and-drop designer with text styling, layer system, and branding lock zones
- Native 3D Pipeline — an in-house production pipeline for garment simulation, modeling, and textures
- Print-Ready Exports — production-aligned output in PDF, SVG, and PNG formats
- File Upload Support — SVG, PNG, and JPG
R2.0 — Marketplace & Order Management (October 2024)
Four months after launch, R2.0 focused on accelerating the product creation and order fulfillment workflow.
- 3D Asset Marketplace — browse and purchase ready-made apparel models (jerseys, caps, training kits) directly from Konfiwear
- Custom 3D Modeling Service — submit reference files and receive production-accurate models with UV maps, integrated into your dashboard
- Kanban Order Manager — visual pipeline from Received to Confirmed to Production to Completed, with drag-and-drop status updates, file attachments, and pricing per order
R3.0 — Design Tools, AR Preview & Color Management (February 2025)
R3.0 expanded creative control and introduced augmented reality.
- Background Removal Tool — one-click background removal for clean product visuals (free on all plans)
- AR Viewer — customers preview designs in real space from their phone, no app required (Pro & Enterprise)
- Smarter Color Management — Apply to All, Hex preview, CSV color import, conditional colors per zone
- Expanded File Support — AI, EPS, and PDF uploads alongside standard formats
- AI Image Generation — improved speed and accuracy, optimized for apparel-focused output
R4.0 — Fixed Design, Fabric Editor & Stability (June 2025)
The biggest release at the time, focused on workflow stability and backend admin tools.
