Reliable Print Files & Techpack Graphic Downloads

Print files should follow the design that was actually saved — not fail minutes later with a generic error, and not leave the factory guessing how to fetch the original artwork.

This update closes that gap on Save/API and customizer quotes, and gives techpacks durable graphic download links the factory can open.

Print-ready artwork stays with the quote

When a customer saves a design, Konfiwear now captures the live canvas SVG before the customizer locks the canvas for submit, waits for uploaded graphics to finish loading, and retries the capture once if it fails.

If artwork still cannot be stored:

• The design save still succeeds (partners still get design.saved)
• A clear warning explains that print files were skipped
• The server records why capture failed, so support can see it in logs

Re-saving the design from the stored customizer link uploads a new canvas_svg on the new revision. That is the recovery path when a quote has screenshots and graphics but no print-ready artwork.

Regeneration will not invent a failed job

Generate and Regenerate on the quote page now require trusted print-ready artwork for the active revision (or a mockup canvas when the quote never had a canvas SVG).

If artwork is missing, the button is disabled and the card shows how to fix it — instead of creating another failed print job that says “No print-ready artwork found.”

The same message now maps to that help text when a job does fail.

Techpack graphics the factory can download

Quote and techpack PDFs now attach a durable download link per graphic — scoped through the Konfiwear file proxy, not a short-lived presigned URL.

Each graphics-library card shows the graphic code, file name, zone or freeform placement, and a Download original link. Fabric and header pages stay readable when a thumbnail cannot be inlined.

Private quote objects that are not in the bucket return a clean not-found response from the file proxy, instead of a server error.

What to do on an older quote that already failed

Open the quote’s resume link in the customizer, save a revision, then generate print files. Do not regenerate until the new revision has print-ready artwork.
