Moved from Custom options
These options used to live on a separate Custom options tab. That tab now only shows a pointer — everything is edited on Global.
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Product Catalogue | Off = customers skip the catalogue and open the customizer on the default product |
| Catalogue grid columns | Columns for the category, product and design grids in the public catalogue |
| Layout style | Customizer panel on the Left or Right |
| Toolbar style | Overlay floats the graphic/text properties over the canvas; Inline opens them under the selected item in the side panel |
| Section tabs (Product, Design, Graphic, Patterns, Fabric, Other) | Per tab: show it in the customizer, grid columns, show titles, enable search |
Hide what you don't use — a shop that only sells fixed designs with a logo upload needs the Design and Graphic tabs, nothing else.
| Field | Effect |
|---|---|
| Dashboard language | Your team's UI language |
| Customizer language | Default language of the public storefront; customers can switch if the Language switcher feature is on |
| Currency / measurement unit | See Currency, units & VAT |
Enable terms in the customizer, optionally require acceptance before an order, and link your terms URL.
I hid the Colors tab but customers still recolor. Hiding the tab removes the swatch panel. Designs stay customizable; set the design Type = Fixed to stop recoloring entirely.
Customers in Spain see English. Set the customizer language, or enable the Language switcher feature so the browser language is offered.
I can't find Custom options any more. It was merged into Settings → Global; the old tab only links there.
