Connect a domain

Where to find it

Settings → Settings → Custom domains. Requires Pro. You can add several domains; each serves the same storefront.

Steps

1. Click Add domain and enter a subdomain you control, e.g. design.yourbrand.com or kit.yourclub.org. Root domains (yourbrand.com) are not supported — use a subdomain.

2. Konfiwear shows the DNS record to create:

   Type	Name	Value
   CNAME	design (your subdomain)	customizer.konfiwear.com

3. Add it at your DNS provider (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, IONOS, OVH…). On Cloudflare set the proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud) — a proxied record hides the CNAME and verification fails.

4. Back in Konfiwear click Verify. DNS changes usually propagate in minutes, sometimes up to 48 hours. Until then the domain shows Pending.

5. On success the domain shows Verified with a link. The first visit provisions the SSL certificate automatically (a few seconds). Your storefront is now at https://design.yourbrand.com, mapped to /c/your-account.

After connecting

• Set the page title and favicon in the Storefront branding card on the same page.
• Update your website links and iframe src to the new domain.
• Removing a domain takes effect within about 5 minutes.

Common questions

Verify fails but the record is correct. Wait for propagation; check with nslookup -type=CNAME design.yourbrand.com. On Cloudflare, disable the proxy. Remove any conflicting A/AAAA record on the same name.

Can I use the apex / root domain? No. Apex domains can't carry a CNAME. Use www. or another subdomain, and redirect the root to it at your DNS/host.

Does the custom domain cover emails too? No — email sending domains are configured separately in Sending domain & SMTP.
