Multi-size export
How one order becomes one file per size (and per player), what the product needs for it, file naming, and roster substitution.
Where to find it
Enabled by the Multi-size export toggle in Settings → Features (Pro). It unlocks the product Sizes tab and size-specific print files.
How targets are built
| Order type | Files produced |
|---|---|
| Quick order (sizes + quantities) | One SVG per ordered size that has a pattern on the product |
| Team roster | One SVG per roster line (player) — name and number substituted into the marked text zones |
Each file uses that size's sewing pattern as the cut contour and scales the artwork per panel according to the size's measurements and the zone's artwork-grade rule (fixed cm for logos, graded for all-over prints). A size without a pattern is a fatal error for the job; roster lines with a missing size are reported as warnings and skipped.
What the product needs
- Sizes added on the product's Sizes tab, matching the sizes customers can order.
- A pattern SVG per size, one closed path per panel, panels named consistently across sizes (the pre-flight banner on the Sizes tab warns about mismatches).
- Measurements (at least a width or height) per size so the panel is scaled to real centimetres.
- For rosters: the name and number zones (or link group) marked with a roster role in Graphics.
File naming
Set in Settings → Print → Filename pattern. Default: {slug}__{quoteNumber}__{productCode}__{sizeCode}__{rosterSegment} — e.g. fcbarca__QR-2026-0042__jersey-home__L__10-garcia.svg. The preview on the settings card shows the result; the roster segment is empty for quick orders.
Privacy
Player names appear only in file names and inside the artwork. Run logs and the manifest never store substituted names.
Common questions
Roster names are blank in the files. No roster role was set on the text zone / link group, so the generator did not know which text to replace. Mark the zones in Graphics → Zones (or Link groups) and regenerate.
Can I export only one size? Not from the card — generation is per order. Download the ZIP and use the manifest to pick the file.
We produce in one size only; do we need all this? Turn Multi-size export off. Products then use the global size groups and generation produces a single file per order.
