Currency, units & VAT
Set the account currency and measurement unit, and control whether VAT is added to storefront price estimates.
Where to find it
Both cards are on Settings → Global:
- Language settings — currency, measurement unit, dashboard and customizer language.
- VAT Settings — VAT rate and mode.
Currency
One currency per workspace. Every price you type (product tiers, design, fabric and zone surcharges) is in this currency and the storefront shows it with the matching symbol. Changing the currency does not convert existing prices — it only changes the label.
Measurement unit
Metric (cm, kg) or imperial (in, lb). Affects size charts, print measurements shown to customers and the tech pack. Internally everything is stored in millimetres, so switching is safe.
VAT
| Mode | Storefront behaviour |
|---|---|
| Off | Prices shown exactly as entered |
| Always | VAT at the configured rate is added to the estimate and shown as a line |
| Opt-in | Customer sees a toggle to include or exclude VAT (useful for mixed B2B/B2C) |
VAT rate is a percentage (e.g. 21 for 21 %). The quote stores the rate and mode used at submission in its price breakdown.
Common questions
I sell in two currencies. Not supported in one workspace. Create a second team account per currency and embed the matching storefront on each regional site.
VAT shows on quotes but my prices already include it. Set VAT mode to Off and keep entering gross prices, or enter net prices and use Always. Don't mix.
