Open API keys↗Where to find it
Download link and version on the Integrations → Illustrator plugin card. Requires a Pro plan and Adobe Illustrator 2024 or newer.
What it does
Instead of exporting an SVG and discovering in the storefront that sleeves don't recolor, the plugin brings the Konfiwear contract into Illustrator: it scaffolds a document on the product's UV template, names color-zone layers correctly, lints the artwork live (fills, ids, bleed, DPI) and publishes a design straight into Customizer → Designs.
Install and pair
- Download the plugin (
.ccx) from the card and double-click to install via Creative Cloud. - In Illustrator open Window → Extensions → Konfiwear.
- Click Pair. The panel shows a pairing code and opens your browser.
- In the browser, sign in, pick the workspace and click Approve. The panel receives its API key automatically — you don't copy anything. The key appears in Settings → API keys with the device name; revoke it there to unpair.
Workflow
- Pick a product — the panel lists products that have a GLB and pattern. Products missing those show why.
- Scaffold — creates an RGB artboard at the product's UV size with locked guide layers and one layer per color zone (from Assets → Colors → Settings).
- Design — flat fills on the zone layers; graphics on the artwork layer.
- Preflight — the panel lists errors (gradient fills, unknown layer names, raster below DPI) with a fix hint each.
- Publish — creates a draft design, validates it server-side and commits. The design appears in Designs as inactive for you to review, assign to products and activate.
Existing designs can be re-opened from the panel for round-trip edits.
